Born in Bandung, April 3, 1973
Rizky A. Adiwilaga earned his Bachelor degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Padjadjaran, Bandung in 1998 and has been with Ihza & Ihza since the first time of its establishment in 2001 as a Corporate and Intellectual Property Lawyer.
As well as being a Lawyer, Rizky is also an educator. He has been a Lecturer of Intellectual Property Law at Industrial Design Department, Faculty of Arts and Design, Institute of Technology, Bandung (ITB), the leading technological institution in Indonesia, with subject Intellectual Property on Design (1998-up to present). He had also been an Environmental Law lecturer at the Department of Environmental Engineering and Planning, ITB (2001-2002). Due to his specialization on Industrial Design Protection, he had involved as a member of Committee for the Drafting of the Bill of Industrial Design, Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights, the Department of Justice and Human Rights, Republic of Indonesia (DGIPR), to represent Institute for Research ITB (1999-2000).
Rizky continued his study on Intellectual Property by attending several trainings, among other things Training for Intellectual Property Attorney at Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia (2005), IPR Training Course for Management at Asia-Pacific Industrial Property Centre (APIC)/Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation (JIII), Tokyo, Japan (2003) and Advanced Level of Intellectual Property Rights Training, conducted by IASTP and AUSAID at University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) Australia (2000). He has also been a speaker for studium generale, national seminar and training on Intellectual Property Rights at Faculty of Law, University of Gadjah Mada, Islamic University of Indonesia, University of Padjadjaran, ITB and some Government Institutions.
In year 2006, Rizky has been appointed by Minister of Law and Human Rights, Republic of Indonesia as a Registered Intellectual Property Attorney. Consequently, he could represent clients on Intellectual Property before the DGIPR. Besides that, Rizky is one of the founders and the first member of Indonesian Intellectual Property Attorney Association (AKHKI) (2006-up to present).
The area of practices he concentrates are: Intellectual Property Law, Intellectual Property Management, Licensing and Franchising Agreement, Technology Contract, Commercial and Corporate Law as well as Telecommunication Law.
