Born in Surabaya, July 22, 1954
Mr. Hidayat Achyar is the Senior Partner of Ihza & Ihza who has the most outstanding legal reputation with almost 30 years of experience in legal service specializing in General Corporate, Civil and Commercial Litigation, Banking Liquidation, General Banking and Islamic Banking.
As a graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia in 1981, Mr. Achyar began his career as a Lawyer at Hanafiah Law Office (1979-1983). Afterwards, he acted as a Senior Lawyer at Nasution, Lubis, Hadiputranto Law Firm (1983-1985). During the year 1985-1995, he joined Lubis, Ganie, Surowidjoyo Law Firm as a Senior Lawyer and then was promoted as a Partner. Moreover, he was also trusted as the Partner at Warens and Achyar Law Firm (1995-2001). Currently he is a Member of the Liquidation Team of BHS Bank, Jakarta, appointed by Bank of Indonesia (1997-present).
Mr. Achyar is registered as a legal consultant with the Capital Investment Supervisory Agency (BAPEPAM). He is also an active member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (AAI), the Indonesian Bar Association (IKADIN), the Association of Capital Market Legal Consultants (HKHPM) and the Asia Pacific Lawyers Association. In addition, Mr. Achyar served also as an Arbitrator of National Islamic Arbitration Board (Basyarnas).
